Can someone please help me? everytime I restart, I get this message saying "Failed to initialize the Nvidia kernel..." and then have to run in low graphics mode. I installed v. 195, rebooted and then started to get this message.
Here's a copy of my xorg.conf file if it helps.
Hello
I'm new on the Linux Scene, i've installed Fedora 12 two days ago and since then I'm trying to figure out how to solve my problem on working with 2 monitors but with no success.
Let me try to explain my situation:
I have this new asus laptop with Nvidia Geforce GTX 260M gpu. My problem is the refresh rate is low with ubuntu 9.04 and 9.10 beta even though I have installed the latest driver from nvidia web site.
Hi,
I got an ION330 and try to install my nvidia. I'm trying now since a week.
I've had a working desktop even running compiz just before I updated today. Anyway, after the reboot which was required after my update, I got a notification in the boot message which says:
Code:
Checking for module nvidia.ko: [FAILED]
