Why does udisks require eject?

https://bbs.archlinux.org – I'd be very happy if we could make eject go away (as it is dead upstream). However, from looking at the source, it looks like udisks uses /usr/bin/eject whenever it wants to eject a device. If there is a way to make udisks do this "natively" (which sounds very plausible), then I'd be very happy to hear about it (maybe I missed something in the sources, I only glanced). A bug report with the corrected PKGBUILD against udisks is probably the way to go.To check that you have it right: verify that you can uninstall the eject package and still eject your cdrom dive using udisk.
