My AT&T Samsung Note 2 (SGH-i317) has been downgraded and unlocked and is finally working on my new carrier (Movistar) thanks to your forum article (http://androidforums.com/t-galaxy-note-2-all-things-root/711598-need-hel...).
However it still wants to automatically "upgrade" using the AT&T software.
So I have a pay-as-go plan, which means I normally keep data turned off. Well I just recently found out I can change the data connection type from 2g to 3g to Automatic. If I have it in 3g mode, the phone connects to "GSM HSPA+" or "GSM UMTS" even if I turn data off.
I recently upgrade my 12.04 "Precise Pangolin" to 14.04 "Trusty Thar".
After that, my input for Chinese Character is stopped working.
Within the panel, i still able to see all listing of possible Chinese Character input methods,
when typing ... it shows the available characters, but after selecting ... the text editor only shows [Invalid UTF-8].
Hello you all,
I have a Galaxy Y with creed's rom 3.5. Now, suddenly, it shows "No service". I dialed *#1234#, and the screenshot is attached below. Please, I need some help.
PS.: I dont have a PC now, :( if I had, I would just flash modem with Odin.
I keep getting the warnings such as
"warning: passing argument 2 of ‘strcmp’ makes pointer from integer without a cast" about strcmp and strdup. I'm pretty new to C and I feel like I've tried a million things with no luck...I don't really get what's going on.
