My GT-I9500 is pretty new (bought around 4 months ago). For a few days I am facing problem with my battery. When battery is around 60% my phone reboots and then show 0% batter. Charging it a minute restores batter life to 60%. Here is the sequence of incidents after which I am facing my problem (don't know whether any of them is relevant).
So the stock Android battery stats that shows screen on time and stuff doesn't show all apps. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't and I don't know how to make it show all the apps. Siyah 4.1.3 with aokp 10/11. In ExTweaks I have the discrete wakelocks unchecked although I doubt that makes a difference. Anybody got any ideas? A search didn't bring up anything

Thx in advance .
I have a Toshiba Satellite L645D running Ubuntu 12.10 and it seems like Ubuntu like some other distros (Nadia, Debian) won't recognize my battery and I don't know the reason for that, it won't show the level of charge and if I have my laptop plugged in with the AC adapter, I have tried this "Settings > Power - Show battery status in the menu bar" as Always but it won't show me the level of charge

I think I have nailed it. I can now get my phone to do 27 hours of standby time at will. That's after having light battery drain, followed by a huge one, back to light and so on... So I've been where you are.
And here is the thing... Task manager and application manager are trash. They will not show you all running apps which in my opinion is highly misleading.
