Several days ago, a friend of mine asked me for help that there was something wrong with her iTunes. She couldnt sync videos recorded with iPhone to her newly got iPod. I asked the question on Yahoo Answers. But no one can recover iTunes, and they gave me some other solutions. The most attractive one is the Wireless Transfer App on App Store. I have tried it out and recommended it to my friend.
I have brought a ipod shuffle this weekend. Seems like it requires a application to transfer songs from computer to ipod and also works only for M$. I have only Linux distros, is it possible to transfer songs from my linux machine to ipod shuffle ?
I'm sure some LF member should have tried this :)

Hey guys this is probably a simple question but I can't figure it out. I have an old iTunes acct and want to dump it but I want to transfer all my movies, music and vids first. Now I transfer some videos just fine but some won't transfer, and my movies won't transfer at all? So what do I got to do?:confused:

When I plug my ipod touch in and open Banshee, The itouch is recognized and I can play music I had previously synced from itunes but when I click the itouch icon the scroll bars only come up on the screen for music, podcasts and audiobooks but not videos. I think that it may not work because most of my videos are AVI of FLV.
Alright guys..You did not like my last question because i used rude language..Ok im not gonna swear or anything anymore but it's been 2 weeks and i still can't put songs in my Ipod.
So I finally got my Ipod Touch 5 to sync to my computer with Banshee but when I try transfer music from the computer to my Ipod it just wont.. I mean like when I drag a mp3 file over to the "Ipod touch" tab at the bottom left it says "Importing 1 of 1" and bellow that it says "Scanning" and I check on my Ipod the file isn't there...
I have encountered 2 ipod issues on my machine that I never had before. They started about a month ago and I did not have them when I first installed 12.04. I am running Ubuntu 12.04 with a 30gb first generation of video ipod.
1. My computer will not detect my ipod when I plug it in to the USB port. I have to reboot after plugging in the ipod for the machine to detect it.

(Yup, I finally gave in and got one.)Is there anything in the Debian repos besides Banshee that can sync mp4 videos to an iPod?
