Who's been using my harddrive?

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi! I've recently upgraded from fedora 9 to 11. One issue I am now facing is, my hard drive no longer goes to sleep anymore. I have 3 hard disks, 2 of them are barely used. In Fedora 9 I usually do: hdparm -S 241 /dev/sda. Then the drive would go to sleep after idling for a while. But now, when I issue a command: hdparm -y /dev/sda I can hear the hard drive spins down and if I do a >hdparm -C /dev/sda /dev/sda: drive state is: standby But, after a while, I could hear the drive suddenly start spinning up again. and the status become active. Does anyone know if there are something new to Fedora 12 that would periodically check my harddrive which prevented it from going into sleep? One of the drive is SATA, the other one is ATA. Thanks!
