I'm new to ubuntu, formally windows 8 disgusted and have switched my other computer over to ubuntu only. The only thing I want to run on wine is to download DB Weave (and possibly for netflix later). I'm very confused with the wine install choices.

hi, i have this problem with iTunes install on wine. when i tryed the commands on wine appdbs. it says in the terminal it either fails to install the service pack or doesn't mkdir for that it says permission deneid. or it has error. does anyone know what the problem is wine or do i have ceraint files?
The version 1.2 of the well know wine is now released and you can download it from the next link. If you don't know what wine is, let me explain a little and short. wine is a program (wine is not emulator) that allow you to run windows programs. Some of the new features from wine after 2 years without a stable release.
