Here on the below given page there is a list of torrents for Fedora 18 (not beta version, the final version at the very top). I want to download the following torrents/iso images to install later. http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/ Fedora-18-i386-DVD.torrent I hope this one is the regular 32-bit installation Fedora-18-i686-Live-Desktop.torrent I think this contains GNOME as the default desktop environment and it can be installed to a hard drive, am I right? As far as I know all the is (HowTos)

One of the ways you can help users install Fedora 12 is to first help them get the iso's. Tonight, when I looked for a mirror to download from I realized that the direct download was going to be slow, so I looked at the torrents. It actually took me less time to download from a torrent then it would have if I downloaded directly from a mirror.

I just downloaded Fedora 18 32 bit DVD edition from the below link as a torrent. The checksum is also ok.

within 24h, f18 shall release. lets look at site: http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/

f18live no long fit a cd(700m) image... while ubuntu1210 also do so. I cannot believe this. is cd-image(700m) is already outdate.?

So there is a directory full of torrent files:

debian.iso.torrent fedora.iso.torrent

I can start downloading them with a:

rtorrent *.torrent

command, when the working directory is the same where the torrents are.

But. Every time when I start rtorrent in this way it calculates all the hashes..it takes looong time do to that and it's a cpu intensive thing.

Actually, the new version of Slackware Linux 13.1 already released. But, here I just want to share the download link for the Sackware Linux 13.0. This is a torrent file, so you will need a torrent client to download this Slackware Linux 13.0.
