http://forums.cpanel.net – Which Mail Scanning would be better? I am trying to make up my mind up between different mail scanning tools for cPanel/WHM. This has to be stable without spending hardly any time with it after it is installed and have easy to understand user frontend features for the user to use for users own domains. Plus I do not want to spend a ton of money for it. I am not trying to bash here just want good solid feedback from everyone. I have ConfigServer Mail Manage plugin in WHM. Plugin works fine.

But I have one poblem. After I deleted mails and change over quota to normal quota (with ConfigServer Mail Manage plugin), WHM display mail qouta ok. But cPanel don't.

i have questions here, i already installed mailscanner and other component as well as.

Lets say we have 2 domains, domain1.co.za and domain2.co.za. Both point to the same MX records with the same priority, mx1.isp.co.za and mx2.isp.co.za, both of which send the mail through our ISP's filtering/scanning service. From there, mail for both domains is delivered to our on-premises Exchange server using SMTP.

I have a WHM/CPANEL dedicated server currently doing the whole lot (Web Server, Database Server, Mail Server) and I am getting annoyed that mail is not being received all the time, mail is getting bounced (despite disabling all spam filters) and have already tried all the tricks in the WHM/CPANEL troubleshooting book.

Hello, I managed to install the Clamav plugin for WHM/CPanel, however I would like to disable the email scanning as I only want to use it for scanning customers files because it is usually a memory hog.

What I have in mind and used is a commercial gateway/firewall with an web-interface for configuration that has this specifications:

i used mailscanner and works well now, but confused why still get spam mail...for just one user email address.....sometimes 10 spam mail user will get

actually how the best way to configure for mail spamassassin ?

i already setting spamassassin services but spam still log to my server...

anyone have face this problem....pls help me..

server gets into serious load 70.0 69.9 67.0 just by scanning it with web application scanning tool, and becomes unresponsive. Easy DOS from single host so to speak. How to prevent this?
