I have seen the $30 dollar month to month plan advertised on the walmart.com webiste.
Its $30.00 and you get
100 mins
unlimited text
unlimited web (5gb at 4g speeds, then throttled down)
Plan sounds amazing (i don't really use the phone to talk), Has anyone successfully activated this plan on the nexus 4?
ok i have the HTC EVO V 4G and im on the Virgin Mobile no contract plan.. i get unlimited everything for $55 a month.. i love the deal, but no so much the crappy reception...
I have a Samsung galaxy s 3 no contract from T-Mobile, but now want a plan with them. I see that they have the 30 dollar a month 5gb unlimited data unlimited text and 100min of talk. Only problem is that its for " New tmobile.com orders or Walmart orders" only. Is there a way to still get the plan?

T-Mobile held a special event today to announce the death of the traditional cell phone pricing plan, with the carrier moving to a new model where customers purchase their own phone and are under no obligation to stick with their service over a long-term contract.
Hi Nexus folks :p
Despite still having a few months left on my Verizon contract, I have purchased a Nexus 4 and plan on sticking my Droid Charge in a closet somewhere ASAP. The Charge was an OK phone but it's definitely showing it's age nowadays, being completely infuriatingly slow when web browsing and doing...
I saw that T-Mobile has gone to no contract plans, but there's no sign of the $30 per month plan with 5GB data! Am I missing something, like where to find it on the site? I was planning to switch to that plan when the new Nexus came out so I could get a year on my VM Evo V.
So my wife has an ancient iPhone 3G with a nice big crack on the back (better than the front, though, right?) and I have an EVO 4G. Neither of us are on contract and I'm eyeing the new Nexus 4 for both of us and switch us from AT&T (her) and Sprint (me) to T-Mobile.
'Just got off the phone with Virgin Mobile...VM's wifi hotspot plan is not available for the Kyocera Rise.
I hand-picked this device because of it's alleged hotspot capabilities. Just before purchasing from VM with my pay-lo phone balance, I made a phone call to VM to ask specifically if the Rise supported the hotspot plan, and was told it did.
My Verizon contract is up next month and I want to buy a Galaxy Note 2. I want to go off-contract because it works out so much cheaper that way (and I am a commitment phobe :p). I'm overwhelmed by all the different options. Can anyone help?
I am not a heavy phone user. Verizon tells me that my average monthly iPhone usage is 120 voice minutes, 97 texts, and 471 MB data.
