Which is the best open source mail account backup solution for Ubuntu mail server?

http://serverfault.com – We have a mail server (SMTP, IMAP , spam assassin , ClamAV , .... ) running on Ubuntu server and there is more than 200 mail accounts. We are looking for a backup solution for mail , which will allow us to take the backup of individual accounts , as per our backup policy. The situation is , around 25 of the accounts need frequent backups while the rest is not that important. So Anyone can suggest me a good solution , considerably an opensource solution . If GUI is there , it will be more helpful for the junior engineers also. Thanks In advance (HowTos)

I'm looking for a FOSS Mail Archiving Solution.

The thing is, my company does not currently host it's email server, I need a solution which can import all mail from all the emails accounts from the external server.

I bet this is possible but All i have seen assumes you are running your own private mail server.

I have two mail accounts, one of them (gmail) is my preferred and the other is a corporative mail. I'd like to read all my email in the gmail account only.

I love Ubuntu and Evolution so I installed Evolution on Ubuntu 12.04 when I upgraded recently.

I restored my mail from a backup and on starting Evolution for the first time, received a message about converting my emails and once successful, deleting the mbox versions via Edit -> Preferences -> Mail accounts.

Dear Sirs, We have a new mailserver running on linux. In which I have sent up a mail id called backup@aekays.com for the purpose of having a copy of all the mails sent and received through this server. I have set this id of backup@aekays.com as mail archiver.

I have been using k9 mail for about 2 month and all of a sudden it has stopped receiving mail and wont fetch mail after the 24-09-12 I can send fine I have tried uninstalling and re-installing and it will only call mail up to the 24-09-12.

Ok We have a difference of opinion on something and wanted to get some expert advice.
