First time using Kubuntu 12.04 I like the environment well and I'm already bumping up to problems.
My Auzentech Hometheater 7.1 sound card does not run very well,
It gets recognized, plays audio fine but I have two problems:
1) In Analog Surround 5.1 Output profiles the sound is too low even if the speakers are in Max Volume (both in Volume panel and the hardware control panel [Speakers: Lo
Prezi has added audio capabilities to its presentation platform and has surpassed the 20 million user mark, more than doubling its base in the past year.
The new audio feature allows users to add sound to the different path points that customers use to build and organize their presentations.
Customers may also use the audio feature to make soundtracks for their presentations.
I don't think X Server itself has anything to do with your audio.Sometimes your DE/WM might do some configuring of your audio on its' own.Which alsa/pulseaudio/OSS are you using?Could be the audio hardware doesn't like the sound architecture you're using.I have audio hardware that went back and forth between alsa and OSS, alsa being the better choice.
Well, as the title says, my subwoofer and central audio are swapped. I tried, as a post said, to mannualy modify the audio channels, In /usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/profile-sets/default.conf.
I made a sound test, but subwoofer played center's audio and viceversa.
Please Help! I need somebody!, but not just anybody!
I am looking for a sound profile manager that will trigger off a meeting on my calander so i don't have yo remember to scilence my phone before every meeting. "Profile Schefuler" by Wetpalm worked great til daylight savings time last year and it started wigging out and would randomly start changing profiles. Does anyone know of another app that will trigger off a calendar event?
