I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem. So, for a long time now, my phone will randomly act funny when trying to longpress things on the keyboard when typing. It is random and does not always occur. It has happened in Swiftkey X, Swiftkey 3 Beta, Swiftkey 3, Froyo stock keyboard, ICS stock keyboard, and now Jellybean stock keyboard. I am currently running the Toasted Marshmellow rom.
Ok, so my wife insisted on a phone with a physical keyboard so I got her the Strat 2. She likes it and it's pretty smooth, but lately, the keyboard doesn't respond. The default keyboard is set to SwiftKey, which I love on my Razr Maxx. Even if she switches from the virtual one to the physical one, nothing responds. She types, but nothing appears in the text box.
Wondering if I can upgrade the keyboard on my Verizon S4. I read that the stock keyboard is powered by "Swiftkey" technology. Is the paid version of Swiftkey more advanced than the stock keyboard? Would anyone recommend buying Swiftkey for the S4?
Would like to know everyones opinion of Swift Key vs the Stock Keyboard. I am new to android, but have used both over the last couple weeks. I havent noticed any real advantage to Swiftkey. I think they both have very similar features. Both do a good job of suggesting words and corrections. In some ways I like the stock keyboard better, just not sure yet.
Is there any way to remove indic keyboard? I do not speak the languages it uses nor have any plans to learn them yet my keyboard (swiftkey) keeps booting up with indic keyboard running. I suppose another solution would be, does anyone know a good keyboard? Similar to the HTC default except with easy access to a question mark and emoticons?
