I just bought a new SSD drive and I want to install a fresh... 14.04 LTS, but it isn't out yet! I will upgrade once it becomes stable, but I had problems updating in the past (about 2011). What should I do to have a trouble-free upgrade?
Install 13.10 and upgrade to 14.04 LTS?
Install 14.04 beta and upgrade to 14.04 LTS stable?
Install 12.04 LTS and upgrade to 14.04 LTS?
I moved to KDE4.3.4 which is now the STABLE KDE4 under openSUSE-11.1 and now yast2 does not start. The error message says:
line 440: 5573 segmentation fault $y2ccbin $Y2UI_ARGS "$@"
Is this a known fault or is there something I can do to correct it? How to re-install it, given that it is yast which is broken?
I was trying to update my wife's S3, and I accidentally updated her Cyanogenmod rom from a Stable release to 10.2 Snapshot. It wasn't working properly, so I decided to download and install 10.1.3 Stable. Now, I'm in a bootloop.
Is it ok to go backwards like that without doing a clean install?
So I was trying to install the latest CM and ran into some problems, couldn't get it to install. Long story short, I ended up using the "EZ Unlock" bootloader unlocker app that is only for Verizon phones, not anyone else, and screwed my phone up.
