Hey all,I have been using #! on and off for about a year now. I have a older custom desktop I built, and for some reason #! is the only Linux that seems to want to install and run on it.All favors of "Ubuntu" failed (whatever, I HATE Unity anyways) even Xubuntu and Lubuntu.

Hi - I am simply trying to burn a DVD, but getting very irritated instead. I try to use the pull-down GUI "CD/DVD Creator" , drag files over to the window and hit "write to disk". Another win opens and it shows a "write disk to" selection to FILE IMAGE.
hi Inkmo,I must say that I have just a little experience with nvidia graphics, but your diagnosis makes sense to me...check out smxi: it is a great utility for upgrading the system, managing kernels and proprietary drivers...VastOne has a good tutorial for it...
