http://androidforums.com – I rooted my Samsung Gravity Smart so that I could move stuff to the sd card. The internal phone memory was always too low to download any apps or to update anything. Sucked. So, admittedly foolishly, I used Root Explorer to move a whole bunch of stuff to the sd card. Not total disaster, but close: everything started failing. I moved most of the stuff BACK to the system apps folder, and most stuff is back to working, but now the home screen does not have the phone or contacts icons shortcuts on the bottom where they used to be next to the messaging and apps shortcuts. Today I've run into a curious problem, and I've finally ran into a brick wall in solving it.

I have the Samsung galaxy S II Skyrocket, and I have a 16GB micro SD card that I just bought from wal-mart for it.

I know there are tons of repeats of these questions, but I'm not good with techno-phone stuff. Computers I can handle, but phones are beyond me.

Hi all, I have been using Android phone for years. Previosly I owned a HTC Sensation XL. I have no problem of moving the apps between internal phone memory & SD storage. This week just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S4.

I had to do a factory reset on my phone so I moved all my apps, pictures, music to my external SD. For the apps I went to Settings>Applications>move to SD card. After the reset I put the external SD back in the phone and the pictures and music were there but not the apps? I downloaded Rescan SD! so maybe the phone would scan the apps in the SD card and nothing.

I own a rooted Samsung Vibrant running cm7, overclocked to 1.3ghz, with cwm recovery. My external SD was full to a byte and my internal had about 100mb free, so I decided to move all my apps on SD to internal. I used an app called App2SD that, among other things, lets you batch move apps. I selected everything on the SD and started a batch move.

I have had my Commando rooted since new (M080) and use Titanium Pro for managing the apps, but for some reason, even with as many apps moved to the SD card as possible, I still have a memory issue on the phone.

I'm hoping this is in the right section. I have an LG-L38C (Walmart Smart Talk phone) and I'm running really low on internal memory.

I'd like to move some apps over from the phone's 1GB of internal memory over to the 4GB SD card.
