I don't see a definitive answer on this anywhere: Does the ArrayAdapter.insert() insert a new item at the specified location ..or.. does it replace the information at the specified location?
I have an arrayadapter.I can add items to this arrayadapter,but sometimes I need the update an item in this adapter.I researched the internet and can't find anything about update specific item in the adapter then I did like this:
I am trying to insert records into SQLite database through a simple INSERT OR REPLACE query, however I see duplicate records, new records with same values albeit the primary key are duplicated. My primary key is the _id column as is specified in Android guidelines.
I am using Premiere Pro CS5 and I edited a video in After Effects CS6, rendered it as a .avi file, imported the .avi file into Premiere Pro and that worked. I then placed the video into the source area and then set an end and start point and then when I click 'insert' it doesn't insert into the timeline.
I'm working on centos 6.5
and I have manged to do an insert query
mysql -u root --password='pw' MatchingDB
> INSERT INTO USER_MACTable (USER, MAC) VALUES ('$user','$mac');
my question is:
how to modify the insert query above to let it replace an existing record when the MAC attribute is duplicated and to insert a new record normally when the MAC attribute isn't duplicated using phpmyadmin
I've got a little problem with retrieving ID from added row.
insertWithConflict inside my ContentProvider returns the ID of freshly added row but I don't know a way to get it from my ContentProvider to my IntentService responsible for firing insert.
Insert in IntentService
Uri uri = Uri.parse(MicroDatabaseProvider.CONTENT_URI + "/" + MicroDatabaseProvider.ORGANIZER_SEARCH_IN);
