Okay so I just installed ubuntu on my windows 7 laptop using wibu and I updated everything via the software updater, though when I try and install wine I get the following error Package dependencies cannot be resolved This error could be caused by required additional software packages which are missing or not installable.

Ok, so I run apt updates and all that, but when I type in sudo apt-get install wine1.5 in terminal.

I get this

If I try the software center, I get this message.

So I upgraded on a fresh install to ubuntu 12.10, not beta, and I've tried installing wine many mannnnyy times now many different ways but the jist of it is this

when i try to open avidio file like .mkv extension with mplayer it requires some multimedia plugin like gstreamer and and Ubuntu 12.01 freshly installed
