If your Nitro is like mine, then its' compass couldn't find North to save its' life. Or worse yet it might be in the vicinity, but is very sporadic...Makes it just about impossible to use apps like Google Star Maps or get a proper bearing on direction in Nav when you're at a stop.
Currently I have integrated google maps V2 in my app successfully. In the maps interface, zoom button and compass are standard. Now I want to customize the compass and zoom buttons or simply hide them.
Can I do this? If yes, how? Any help is appreciated.
I want to create a bar on top of the screen like a horizontal ticker tape but I will control the flow and direction by using bearings to rotate and show the readings of compass such as 'N', 'S', 'W' & 'E' in onSensorChanged method.
I've searched online and it does not seems to have any results.
I need made an accordion view to my app. I know that there's some libraries like android-accordion-view. But all this libraries the only thing that they do is put the LinearLayout that contains the childs as "gone", and later add the childs dinamically. With this I mean that the animation is too rough, I'm searching something more smooth.
I have an issue with compass and gps.
Ihave an out of the box Samsung Galaxy S 2.3.6 firmware.
Trying to use it for some geocache i noticed that my compass is facing in the opposite direction, i dont have any other compass app on my phone.
How can this be fixed ?
