Im new here and i appreciate any response to this. ok so i brought a triumph today. charged it for 4 hours started it up put everything back on using my backup pro and everything was going fine. then this music starts playing in the background and i couldnt stop it unless i muted the phone. i thought that maybe it was some weird notification sound cause it didnt last long at first.
Sooo the time has finally come where I have enough money to move on from my Triumph. Probably going with this phone unless, there is something coming out soon? Shall I wait? (not for an iphones but an android)
Anyways, if I do end up getting this i'd like to know a few things.
How much better is the "qHD" screen than the triumph?
Does it have deeper blacks?
Just wanted to tell everybody bye and thank all of you that worked on the Triumph to make it a better phone.
I've had my Triumph a couple of years and I was one of the lucky ones that got a good one from the start...never had any problems...I did update to CM7 and have enjoyed it.
I may well not have a clue what I'm talking about :), but I find myself wondering if Google Play has compatibility issues with a Triumph running an ICS ROM, given that official ROMs are still back at Froyo. Specifically, will Google Play balk at letting a Triumph owner running an ICS ROM install apps calling for ICS?
So right now I have 4 triumph's in my position
1. My original Triumph
2. My replacement Triumph
3. My replacement of my replacement
4. My Wife's phone
So here we go struggling like everyone else on the forums, my new replacement (#3 on the list) I received today is also a dud. Hard lights light up and then turn off while typing.
I new to the Motorola Triumph forums. My girlfriend recently got a used triumph and it has been acting up recently. it is completely unrooted stock.
We want to root, flash CWM, and a custom ROM but she isn't the kind to flash a new ROM every few days or weeks which leads me to my question.
What ROM is the most stable. I doesn't matter if it is Froyo, Gingerbread, or ICS.
I installed Set DNS last night so I can easily change DNS servers on my Triumph and I gotta say this really made my Triumph seem more responsive (using WiFi, I have not tested with 3G yet). Dolphin Browser loads super fast and surfs faster too. I currently am using the Level 3 DNS. Curious if anyone else has used it?
I have a wintv-hvr950q usb tuner and the only solution to getting it to work is to plug it in and unplug it 10 to 20 times. I have asked this question many times.It worked fine before kernel 6.35.4 why?l
