http://forums.androidcentral.com – Just want to see what everyone is using and how do you like it. Im looking for a dock that has access to the home button, chargeport, rear camera and can rotate between landscape and portrait mode. I see the new ibolt dock but it isn't available yet. Looking for something that will go on the window and the dash. (HowTos)

Hey folks,

I've had my S3 for about a month now and I'm really enjoying it.

I just got an iBolt car dock for it, and it's raised a few questions. When I put the phone in dock it activates "Car Mode". There's a pop-up in the notifications that shows me in car mode, and says "tap here to exit".

What does car mode actually do?

Bought an Ibolt dock for my S3, was working perfectly with ICS. Installed the official JB update and the dock no longer charges my S3 when connected?

Anyone else noticed this?

Ps. It's definitely not faulty, phone charges normally.

I often put my Bionic in the Car Dock while driving as I like the Tunein Radio app. Of course when I put it in, it goes to Car Dock mode. Now, I always just press the back button to get to the main home screen, but I have noticed that the large icons on the Car Dock home screen, the Navigation, Voice Search, etc, will sometimes be orange and sometimes be white.

I have the HTC Sensation XE and i got the official car dock for it. I love both but there's just one annoying thing I'm not sure if its possible to change.

I recently installed cairo dock, and I love it. However, I miss my universal dock. Is there anyway I can get the Universal dock and cairo dock without the pesky unity dock on the side? I would prefer to keep the interface that opens with the windows key, but that seems to rely on the unity dock, and is optional.

tl;dr I want the Universal dock and the cairo dock without the unity dock

There are lot of Dock Apps available for GNU/Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Linux Mint 13. Some of the most popular dock Apps are – GLX-Dock (Cairo Dock with OpenGL), Docky and AWN (Avant Window Navigator). Dock App is not just an eye candy app, it also makes lot of things much easier (such as multiple window/app management, easy shortcuts for complex and repetitive tasks etc).

Hi,

Installed cairo dock with Open GL from softwares center.

I have a some queries:

1. How can one remove the default launcher on the left side?

2. When I reboot the bottom dock has to be launched from the side panel?

3. Can I add Dash Home to the bottom dock?

4. How can I remove the default top border?

5.

I need unset up the Trash button on bottom the Pane, and set up these for Workplaces button. And I prefer for using set up Main Button on Dock, analogically them. I.e. using it for permanently displaying Main button on top of the Pane.
