Hey all,
I have been experience quite a few bugs with the new kernels 2.6.38+ on my laptop. (seriously, we've been around the block already trying to sort it out but to no avail)
I was wondering if there was a way to install the latest stable Lucid kernel on Ubuntu 12.04 so that I could receive the updates for Lucid until it's end of life in April(I think?).
Not sure why none of you thought of this before.....
The LG Viper and LG Connect are more similar than the Connect and Lucid.
Hello!
I'd like to run the release candidate of CUDA-toolkits 5.0 on Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid). Documentation of Nvidia states Lucid to be supported but it needs glibc version 2.12.1 und gcc version 4.4.5 .
The problem is my Lucid only has glibc 2.11.1 and gcc 4.4.3
Has anybody already experience with CUDA 5.0 RC on Lucid and can give some lead?
feneks

Hello,
I had a TP-Link TL-WN422G USB WLAN which has Atheros AR9271 chip inside.
I am using ubuntu lucid (LTS - long term support) on my production machines.
I want to try new windows software, but this fails.
The current packaged wine on lucid is 1.4, compiled in march 2012
I have seen that newer wine versions are available in precise.
On lucid, I can only install packages up to oneiric (dependencies in precise are for newer versions of libraries).
The oneiric wine 1.5 is da
Silly question, but given that I have upgraded and downgraded from Lucid to Natty and back, and after some months of anticipation, Lucid to Oneiric then back, would the LTS cycle of Lucid end in April?
Need help. I rooted my Sprint Galaxy S3, this being my first time, and everything went as it was suppose to. I have the SU icon but it wont update and all rooted apps i try say my phone is not rooted. What do I need to do?
I just got the LG Lucid last week, it's my first 4G phone. I'm in love with the phone for a bunch of different reasons but I can't deal with the poor battery life. I know this is a problem everyone with the Lucid seems to have, but I can't just deal with it... I need a phone that can last me all day with me using it regularly!!!
Anyway, I'm thinking about buying an extended battery for it.
