Hey guys.
Here we have atrix hd ics launcher and widgets. Directly installable. All wotking fine. Widgets work only on atrix launcher. Circle widgets show weather and notifications.
Only problem is launcher is made for qhd resolution so a little off. Can someone fix this please.

I have widgets that are automatically added to the launcher, but some of these widgets need to be configured so I set an onClick listener to get the id and get the widget info to launch the Activity to configure the widget, but the problem I am having is when I return from the Activity of say a weather widget, the part where it is failing is in the create method , when I try get the appWidgetInfo
Widgets are certainly a dime a dozen on the Google Play Store however, it’s rare to find a good Gmail widget that is both aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. In steps the Gmail Widget by Katzoft, a simple, intuitive yet very functional application for quickly glancing at your incoming Gmail.
every time i try to add a widget to my homescreen from my app drawer, i long press a widget like system tools and I get "WARNING...install Holo launcher HD as system app to use the widgets tab (root required), otherwise you can only add widgets by long press on desktop". I'm rooted, by the way. any suggestions?
While I like ADW Launcher and the default CyanogenMod interface, I've been starting to explore some of the other launchers out there. The "GO Launcher" series of widgets are very attractive and generally well done. So, I installed the launcher, weather, and task manager widget.
I have to say that while the widgets look great, they take longer to load than what I'm used to.
so being new to android, i find this weird lol. so widgets are only available for apps that you have correct? and you can place either widgets or the app icon on the home screens?
also how do i resize widgets? i've pressed and held on the widget and the only options available are to drag somewhere else.
Desktop Widgets and Gadgets are Cool! Aren’t they? Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) got a lot of new changes (as compared to 10.* versions of Ubuntu) – GTK3, Unity and Gnome Shell interface, a lot of things has changed, so your favorite Widget application might not be available or compatible anymore in the current environment.
Simple question, can I create widgets with Tasker to change settings? For example, say I create a widget called "Work", when I press that widget I want it to lower the volumes (ring and notification), disable vibrate (very important), turn off WiFi and haptic feedback.
Background info: rooted stock ROM, locked to Rogers.
I can't seem to find a network signal widget that will work with Roger's LTE network. Some widgets shows 113, others show 85. Never changes.
If I disable LTE, the widget works with 4G without any problems.
Anyone know of a widget that is compatible or is there something I have to do to get the other signal widgets to work?
