Hello, Sorry if I am posting in a wrong thread but was not sure so posted up hereI was facing the problem with my atheros card not being detected by crunchbang. I was using kernel 2.6.32-5-amd64, so other guys at irc channel suggested me to upgrade to the new kernel.
I understand the next release of CrunchBang will be based on Debian Squeeze, I was just wondering if it will still get Ubuntu's font rendering? The rendering I'm talking about can be better illustrated in this article: http://lovingthepenguin.blogspot.com/20 ueeze.html.
It's 2 year I've started using ubuntu. In ubutnu 10.04 until ubuntu 11.10 anything was Ok with my Graphic card, But when I migrate to ubuntu 12.04 I had a corruption in my graphic card and I paid expert to repair it. It was Ok with ubuntu 12.04 in continuous but when I upgraded to ubuntu 12.10 I'm never able to install my nvidia.
I have a Lenovo B570e with this graphic card : Intel® Sandybridge Mobile x86/MMX/SSE2.
I don't know if it's just my impression but I think all the images are a little bit pixelated and I think it have something to do with the drivers.
I read almost all the questions regarding 3d desktop cube effect but every time they say that a graphic card is required. Now how can i do it without a graphic card in 12.10 because i dont have a graphic card...
Hello, I have a weird issue, I looked in the brick thread but didn't see any thing that was just like my issue. Last night I tried flashing the rom and used the zero system wipe available in the dev thread (not saying that is the issue just saying what I was doing). It was clearing the cache(never got passed the cache) for over an hour, then it powered off:confused:.
Everything works just great here but I have a question : how do I know my ATI-graphic card works right in Crunchbang ? I know in LinuxMint/Ubuntu you have to activate your driver but how does it work in CrunchBang ? (I have Waldorf).
