I have a Pendo Pad 4.0 and managed to get water in the screen when my water bottle leaked inside my bag. The devise works Ok but the screen has a blotchy appearance. I've tried the heat thing, but the moisture can't escape, Is there anyway of dismatling the pad as there are no visible entry devices (eg screws).
I just got Evo shift 4g for 25$ of ebay and it has water mark on lcd screen. Is there a way to remove it?
The Xperia Tablet S launched only a month ago, but Sony has already halted sales. The tablet itself is supposed to be water resistant, but they found gaps between the screen and the case that would actually make the tabs susceptible to water damage. So far, there are about 100,000 units in the wild, but Sony said they will fix any and all of the tablets sold.
Not too sure how to work this site yet so I apologize if this is in the wrong place. Yesterday my phone dropped into water for less than 2 seconds, the water damage indicators are still white. My phone was working up until late last night when the screen was tinted green and flashes on and off continuously.
Updated two days ago. Still JB 4.1.2, but the update changed the lock screen behavior. The Samsung rippling water effect is now just a lock and swiping moves the lock to the outer ring to unlock. Any idea(s) why this changed and if I can restore the water effect. Thanks.
So, two nights ago in a drunken stupor, my Transform Ultra (new to me by about 4 days) found it's way into a walmart bag that also contained my daughters prefilled-with-water bottle.
Needless to say, the water leaked and the phone sat in the water for quite some time.
It took a few attempts, but the phone did power on, and seemed to be working fine, apart from a little discoloration on the edg
So I forgot to plug in my phone the other night and the battery got completely drained. I plugged it in the next morning, and nothing turned on, no charging display on the screen, no LED, nothing. Left it plugged in for 24 hours, nothing.
Water restrictions are being relaxed in Melbourne next month, but that hasn't stopped Melbourne-based iPhone developer The App Bakery releasing Water Buddy, an app intended to help save water.
Hello,
the water effect is not working in Xubuntu 11.10. I tested this on a virtual machine as well as on my Xubuntu 11.10 installation. When the water effect is enabled the screen darkens as long as the effect would be active. All other effects (e.g. fire, animations, cube etc) are working without any problems.
