I have Fedora 17, KDE. I open Printer Configuration and choose New Printer. I a CUPS server error, "There was an error during the CUPS operation: ' cups-authorization-canceled'. The printer is plugged in.
I previously added a Photosmart-C2400 sucessfully.

I've been working on setting up a print server for my home network, it works great! I can print just fine using lpr, and can print from LibreOffice, but cannot print from other KDE applications like Firefox. Also, when I tried to specify the URL address of the printer, Fedora still thought it was hooked to the local machine. Bah.
Has anyone gotten it to work?
