I have been offered an HTC One if I can switch it from Metro PCS network to Boostmobile. Anyone have instructions that will make the HTC nework on Boostmobile's network? Both networks are CDMA but I need to convert the phone's ID to MEID for Boost. Any ideas out there?
Maybe I'm crazy (don't answer that), but I'm seriously thinking about switching back to my Dinc2 from the Rezound. After using the Rezound for several months, I'm just not that crazy about it. Sure, its bigger and has 4G, but everything about it - flashing ROMs, S-On/S-Off, this radio, that radio - is so COMPLICATED. The Dinc2 is just so much easier.
I'm on a low spec PC so Thunar runs a little too clunky for my liking.I'm looking for a preferrably light yet functional FM, if it's too buggy then it won't be worth the bother switching. Also if there are any tips about switching FMs people have they'd be greatly appreciated. :)Thanks in advance,-digzy
I've been a bit conflicted about switching over to a tiling window manager. I made the switch a while ago and I really like it for some things but for other things I don't. So I ended up switching back to my trusty KDE.
However, when switching between my virtual desktops I can't help but think how awesome it would be if I could have a proper tiling window manager in KDE.
I just purchased a S60 maybe 2 weeks ago so far i love this tv the only downside i have found is there isnt enough HDMI ports for me. I was thinking about purchasing a HDMI switch vs having to keep switching cables back and forth from one thing to another. I'm just hesitant to get a switch because i do not want to sacrifice picture quality.
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04. Downloaded and ran a game called Defcon, by Introversion Software, and then my display problems began!
At first, my smallest monitor stopped receiving input. Then, when I exit the game, still no input & I look at the 'Display' System Settings menu and it is off. I try switching it back on, and my system totally crashes.
This is a reent annoyance that just started rearing it's ugly head. I live in the boonies, but I have reliable 4G coverage. Lately, on my phone, the data connection randomly switches to 3G. After a few minutes it will occasionally switch back, but sometimes it will only switch back if I switch on Airplane Mode, then switch it back off.
Is there any way to force the phone to stay on 4G mode?
