The plan is to have the final Claire released close to the final KDE 4.9 release (dec 4). Hey all I'm having some trouble changing the lockscreen wallpaper on Beans build 10. It only lets me set the lockscreen wallpaper by either accessing "wallpaper" or "live wallpaper". There is no gallery option. I think it may be because I deleted the secgallery apk in the system/app. Can someone post it ? Thanks
Ok, Chackra Linux rocks... this is Claire Final 2012.12, original kernel and a few tweaks.Listen to that...Less than 49 seconds to reach a functional KDE desktop, in a monoprocessor, 1.9 Ghz.Image above shows Linux Kernel time to boot, ~5 seconds, plus Systemd units load times, all = ~ 4 seconds.Not bad :-). Note the top of graph showing the total time spent by it.

So I recently made the jump from Fedora 10 to Fedora 12. Fresh install of F12 64 bit. Got the nvidia drivers all installed, Nouveau is completely gone and not running. Previous to having done any of that, I had a widescreen-style wallpaper that was spanning OK across 2 monitors with no issues.
Might be a bit unexpected to see testing starting so soon after the first Claire release, but there are 3 reasons to get a new ISO up in about 7 days:- since the first Claire release about 1000 packages have been updated, including the full sound stack, openal stack, openjpeg/poppler group, lots of moves from python to python2, KDE 4.9.1, new libreoffice/Calligra.- we'd like to ge
