Whenever on AOSP roms I have an issue with some live streaming video sites I visit. I do not seem to have these problems when running a sense rom on the same sites. I was hoping someone could offer some useful advice on what I could try to fix it.

Just surfing the web my cpu% goes to 80% and my mem% goes over 50% and then the OS freezes and I have to Alt&SysRq REISUB to start again. This happens consistently when I go to sites with lots of pictures and video.
For the last weeks I've been suffering a problem with a Windows 7 laptop formatted only 2 months ago. From time to time the system complete freezes for a minute or so, and then it continues working as if nothing had happened.
My parents watch a lot of ethnic shows via the web (some youtube, mostly weird indian flash heavy sites) and I thought a chromecast would be a nice way to get video on their tv. Unfortunately their 3 year old computer chokes on it (uses underpowered amd chips) so that option's not going to work. Any other suggestions? Do those android sticks have the horsepower for flash?
So I can only fullscreen some certain sites' videos. Youtube works sometimes as does another (entertainment) site.
Both are using Flash, I do not have YT set to use HTML5.
Clicking fullscreen freezes the video but it does not show as fullscreen. Audio continues working. I can hit Esc to close out of the non-functioning "fullscreen" video, but then the smaller embedded one does not start.
I reply to myself but I have found the flash video replacer extension to firefox. It is able to launch an external player for flash videos on main site that use flash to play video (youtube, etc...). It works great for these websites and allow me to see high quality mp4 video on youtube with my 5 years old computers using mplayer.
