Hello,
With Oneiric, I'm unable to wake up from standby mode on my desktop computer. When I ask Ubuntu to go into standby mode, it takes 1-2 seconds to do so. When I power on the computer again, I can see the leds of my screen, my SSD, and keyboard (numlock) lighting again, but that's about it.
Hello,I own a Dell Vostro 1310.Suspend systemctl suspend and hibernate systemctl hibernate works without any problems, also resuming from these. But when I suspend my system to RAM I can wake up only via power button - wake up via USB fails. In BIOS I enabled 'USB wake support (only AC mode)'.http://ompldr.org/vZ2thaQ/bios.jpgI also tried using another keyboard (the one of my brother), but

I have a problem when I power on my laptop (EliteBook 8530p) with fedora core 12 live cd in my optical drive. It simply will not start. The two numlock and capslock leds are flashing regularly and the screen is either blank, or it just freezes at the main menu (from which I can enter bios, etc). A HP assistant suggested that I should update my bios, but it's the same.
I hardly ever put my laptop on suspend/hibernate, so I don't know how long I've had this issue for. I'm on Ubuntu 11.10. When I turn my laptop back on again from suspend- a blank screen shows up and none of the keyboard buttons/touch-pad respond; only way to recover is holding down the power button to restart.
My Asus 1201n won't suspend properly (screen goes dark but power button remains solid instead of blinking). I have to cycle power to get it come back on. I only found old solutions from previous Ubuntu versions which included updating to a more current kernel (now an older kernel). Is there anything I can try to fix this?
Hi.
I have a suspend problem with my t61. I can suspend only once. After that one suspend, when I press Fn+F4 eg. suspend to ram again screen goes blank, hdd spins down, then after a few seconds hdd spins up again, but screen remains black. Nothing else helps than forced reboot. Then I have one suspend left again :)
Since I don't use my laptop very often, I can't really tell when it started.
Hi again, when I suspend my laptop (uname -a: 3.5.6-1-CHAKRA #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Oct 8 16:00:22 UTC 2012 x86_64 GNU/Linux; yes, I'm on testing now, but the problem was there before, so I report it here), after wake up my sound is gone, I can hear only cracking noise in the speakers.
hi. this is a follow up to the amd 7650m problem with f17
the card works with 32bit kernel but not with the pae or the 64bit one
the point is that after the boot process I get stuck with the cursor working but gdm not showing up.
