http://serverfault.com – Now, I am trying to make a small LAN on my home using laptop, router and telephone which is connected to VoIP adapter to convert its analog data to digital. Now, the telephone got an IP address equivalent to 192.168.1.10. I need to configure the telephone through the laptop. The laptop has an IP address 192.168.1.2 and its gateway is 192.168.1.1. The problem now is that i can not access the telephone from the laptop and I can not identify the reason for this. (HowTos)

I have an old server lying around and I was wondering if it would be possible to turn this into an internal telephone server?

I have looked at software like Asterisk, but it seems that this is mainly for external telephone systems.

This is how I have established network between my PC and my laptop at home (being novice in networking, it took me few days to achieve the feat). And it is working perfectly.

I am currently trying to save all contacts telephone numbers in an ArrayList but I cant find a way how. Is there a way to get them instead of picking them one by one with ContactsContract?

hi. have a problem with my samsung captivate i897.the problem is,when i place a call the green telephone icon on the status bar shows too late and when i hang up the green telephone icon is still there and the status bar don't respond for about 4-5 seconds.I tried from Settings>Application>Manage applications and find call settings,clear data and after that it run smooth again.pls help

can someone give me a concise description of what this net neutrality issue is all about, i was reading on the BBC and as far as i can tell, they are a good thing, the only negative point is that these do not extend to wireless providers so that telephone companies can continue to limit access to VOIP and other services they charge for.

I just got a pair of Motorola S10-HD headphones from woot last week. They work great with my Android phone, but I haven't had a great experience with my Fedora laptop.

I wonder if anyone here can help troubleshoot. Here's what's going on:

I have an MSI StarKey bluetooth adapter on my laptop. I paired with the headphones without problems.
