Ever since Samsung announced S-Voice, an exclusive voice-activated virtual assistant for the Galaxy S III, people have been scrambling to try to install it on other devices.
Just recently bought a Bluetooth Headset for my Motorcycle Helmet, I'm on ICS right now, SCV7. The problem I'm finding is that no matter which voice commands app I use (Vlingo, utter, Skyvi, Voice Search) I can't seem to get it to use the headset's mic to listen to me!
But whenever I take a call the microphone works just fine.
I have my S3 connected to my car (Ford Mondeo 09) via bluetooth, which supports A2DP.
When I am streaming music from my S3 the google nav voice comes through the car speakers, but the problem is the music is not muted so the voice is trying to talk over the music and I cant hear the commands.
Does anybody know if there a way I can get the music to pause/fade whilst the nav commands are read plea
What do I have to do to get PlayerPro recognized as a music player app? When I say "listen to <artist>" using the Google voice search app, it gives me a "Complete action using" list that includes iHeartRadio, Pandora, Google Play Music, Slacker Radio, and YouTube, but no PlayerPro option. What's the trick?
Hi,
I have an S3, and i have a password on my main screen, using the keyboard.
Now, by itself, i cannot type my password, i get the voice command, (even though i did not activate the voice command nor ever did) and it's not even working!
I set the voice command on "Open" or "help" or "password" and nothing happens.

Is anyone else having problems with the "Listen to" [artist/song/album] voice command? I say "play (or listen) <artist> or play <song> or play <playlist> or play <ANYTHING> and all I get is Google Now asking if I'd like to do a youtube search. I don't have the option to listen to any other app, including Play Music.
Nexus 4 version 4.2.2.
Thanks
Those of you who grabbed the S Voice leak over the weekend are now getting “Network error. Please try again.” It a not so surprising move, Samsung blocked all leaked apk’s from connecting to the server so basically it’s unusable. Since S Voice is powered by Vlingo, it’s really the Vlingo servers that S Voice is trying to connect to.
Hope someone can help me.
Have a Galaxy S3 and upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.1.1 OTA and now I can't find how to enable/disable voice command for apps.
On ICS it used to be:
Settings > Language & Input > then toggle Voice cmd for apps
but that "Voice cmd for apps" is not there on mine with 4.1.1
Any help?
