I was trying to get a 32 bit program working on 64-bit 11.10 and followed some stuff I found online that involved installing the 32-bit libraries. I did that and now everything is messed up. None of the applications work anymore except the file browser. Is there anyway to fix this?
We were doing some system checkup and I entered into the shell (ussing PuTTY):
# more /etc/inittab.
I copied the contents of the output with intentions to paste all that into a document.
But then accidentally I hit the right click, and in putty that means PASTE so i pasted all that back into the shell.
I have messed up my iptables searching in Google to make ftp work on my Server. Clients get connected but unable to browse the directories nor do anything. It says ftp>Entering Passive mode and putting the message No route to host, when they hit the command "ls".
