I have a problem connection to the VCenter Web Client. I can connect and do some administration from the VLAN that the Vcenter server is on and this is working fine.
But if I connect from our client computers VLAN I can connect to the Vcenter server and see the welcome page but as soon as I click on the Log in on the right (Redirect to :9443/vsphere-client/ ) this just times out.
I'm trying to setup a vSphere Client vCenter v5.0.0 Build 455964 Template Customization Specification using a Windows Sysprep unattended answer XML file for Win2008R2.
However I didn't know how Sysprep worked before attempting this so it was a time-consuming nightmare (even after reviewing VMware vSphere ESXi 5's documentation)!
I am attempting to set up a vSphere Site Recovery Manager lab. I have two datacenters linked via a site-to-site VPN with Microsoft Threat Management Gateway 2010 SP1.
I am attempting to add the two vSphere servers to each other, but I keep getting an Error 500 whenever I try to connect:
I don't see anything in the log files on either server and there's nothing in any KB articles about this.
tried in two different networks and multiple clients both Windows and Mac. It seems like when I reboot the VPN server it allows any client to connect once and second client connection gets error from any client.
I setup pptpd on CentOS6.3, I m testing it, I can connect to the server the first time after reboot.
I'm trying to create a client socket to send a http request to a server, but an error is occurring in the function connect, in turn primeir returned this error: "connect: Socket operating on non-socket 'and' connect: no such file or directory 'I did not find anything wrong in my code so I went looking two examples of client sockets, and they tanbem returned this error.
my code is this:

I'm using TortoiseSVN to connect to my subversionedge server for source control.
This has been working all along until one of our main switches got reset and changed the IP address of a few of our servers.
We have recently bought a "white box" server to run VMware ESXi 5.0 (we're planning to use the vSphere 5 Essentials Kit). According to VMware's Compatibility Guide, the server's LSI Logic MegaRAID SAS 9260-4i RAID controller is compatible (support type listed as "inbox").
I've got as far as installing ESXi 5.0 on the host, and I've also installed the vCenter Server Appliance.
The Users and Groups tab doesn't appear presumably because I'm connected through vCenter (ESXi 4.1). Can you:
a) authenticate via AD integration to an ESXi host directly through vCLI or vSphere client directly to the host?
I need to deploy vSphere Server Appliance 5.1. I have vSphere Client running locally and my internet upload is capped at 3 Mbps.
