I have used the trial version of VMWare ESXi 5 and really enjoy the easiness. Now I downloaded the latest RHEV iso and installed the hypervisor on my server. I have another workstation where I have Centos 6.4 64-bit. Since I don't subscribe to RHEL, I am wondering if it's possible to install RHEV-m on Centos or I must purchase a license RHEL since I need RHN account to install RHEV-m?
I have Windows Ultimate 64 bit as my host. installed vmware workstation 9.0. trying to install Centos 7.0 64 bit.
When I select Centos 64 bit from drop down menu during VM creation it says "64 bit guest operating systems are not supported by this host and will not run."
I'm installing ubuntu-server 14.04 on vmware workstation, using recommended settings, install was successful but vmware won't allow me to choose the configuration I want. It won't allow me to choose keyboard input, location, partition, etc. Like it has automated everything for me.
