I installed Fedora 19 and like very much, and want change from Windows to Linux, but now I got problems with video playback and if I not resolve my problem, then i have to be return back again to Windows:( And I need help who maybe give me some solution and help to resolve my problem.
And problem is- when I open any kind of video I got very colorized picture.
During playback of a video file (on the HDD) the screen attempts to go blank. If I move the mouse the blank screen disappears and I am able to see the video again.
I have checked the settings; Tools>Preferences>All (to select the Advanced Menu)>Video and placed a check mark (ticked) Turn off Screensaver (which, by the way, was already selected) but this seems to have no effect.
After upgrade to 12.04.1 from 10.04, all video players yield blank screen.
VLC has been made to show video properly by setting its video output to "X11 (XCB)" while it was set to "XVideo (XCB)" by default.
How can I do the same with Totem and Pitivi?
Video card is "VIA S3 Unichrome Pro"
i recently installed vlc media player from the ubuntu-software-centre. The problem i found is that when i play the video file in full screen, the noisy sound is coming from it and i cant watch the video in full screen. When i play in normal mode, it is coming with normal sound.
I had a situation about subtitles on VLC. I wasn't able to solve it, then I decided to find another video player on Linux. I googled "Best Media players for Linux". I actually found several options, and MIRO was one of the best. I've installed it without any problems but it does not work or I did something wrong.
Miro opens every video/music I got, but there is only sound.
Hi, i am using google chrome and when i watch videos on youtube in fullscreen mode, sometimes it breaks a lot and the video processing is not very good. And sometimes, when i click on a video watch it, it appears a black screen instead and i have to refresh the page. What could be the problem? Would it be some problem with java?
