Hi,
Just trying to get to grips with sed and awk for some reporting for work and I need some assistance:
I have a file that lists policy names on the first line and then on the second line whether the policy is active or not.
Code:
Policy Name: Policy1
Active: yes
Policy Name: Policy2

i would like to setup two transparent proxy server that use Ubuntu Server and Squid as transparent proxy. My idea is to synchronize the cache between Proxy 1 and proxy 2. so both Proxy server will have same cache inside them. I wish to use Rsync that is an open source utility that provides fast incremental file transfer.
The only error reports I've found are related to Audacity crashing. There was one guy saying the crash occurred when importing mp4 files, but no solution. I also don't understand if Audacity is the only program with this problem or if there are others. Rhythmbox uses Gstreamer exclusively, you might try to see if you can recreate the problem.
Until last week i had a working bumblee/nvidia set up.
Now, when i do
optirun -vv firefox
I'm greeted by:

I'm trying to install a package that provides <gtk/gtk.h> which
"http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?searchon=contents&keywords=gtk%2Fgtk.h&mode =exactfilename&suite=raring&arch=any"
reports as libgtk2.0-dev and libgtk-3-dev, but I'm unable to install
them.
I'm trying to update my dns servers after openvpn connection, but netconfig won't do that for me.
Here's how I'm trying to do it [manually now]:
/sbin/netconfig modify -v -i tap0 -s openvpn <<-EOF
INTERFACE='tap0'
DNSSERVERS='10.10.0.1'
EOF
And here's the verbose output:
debug: lockfile created (/var/run/netconfig.pid) for PID 5530
debug: lockfile created
debug: write new STATE file /va
I am running Ubuntu 12.04.
I am wondering if it is possible to manipulate (Insert/Delete) data in the cache proxy server DB... well I'm not sure how a cache proxy server store the data. But What I am interested in is to add resources to the data base of my cache proxy before it gets it.
