http://forums.opensuse.org – Hi SUSE world, i've got a consistent problem installing virtualbox on openSUSE 11.2: it breaks my network configuration! knotify crashes and leaves me the kcrash file on startup. the only way i've figured out how to get it working again is by uninstalling virtualbox, running Code: killall NetworkManager as root, then letting Yast2 set up NetworkManger again. Otherwise the problem remains indefinitely. using default kernel. i'll be tinkering with it some more. (i'd rather be using xen but that install is an entirely different adventure for another post). (Distributions)

Hi

I am running Opensuse 11.3 64 bit KDE.

I need help installing Virtualbox.

I installed Virtualbox from this repo: Index of /virtualbox/rpm/opensuse/11.3/ virtualbox-11.3

and then I entered the command "/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup" in a root terminal terminal to setup Virtualbox,.

When I did that command everything was successful except the last part.

It gave this error: "modp

I am attempting to install VirtualBox and failing miserably. I am brand new to Ubuntu (and Linux. Just started two days ago.) and want to install VirtualBox to run Windows 7; however, I don't know why it isn't working. I have tried installing it from Oracle's website. Didn't work. When i tryed to update my virtualbox 3.0.12 to 3.1. i got an error message...

I need to run the following command in a script for a workaround:

Code: sudo killall NetworkManager How can I make killall run as sudo killall in the script? I tried adding the following line to /etc/sudoers with sudo

Hey All,

Im trying to install Virtualbox so that i can then go onto install ETKA (Volkswagen Parts catologue) i know it doesnt work with WINE as it uses a hardlock drive but been told Virtualbox will work

So i went to the Virtualbox website and downloaded the latest OpenSUSE 11.2 .rpm and installed it and then i have added myself to the vboxusers group

I just downloaded the latest version of VirtualBox, and GDebi and the Software Center said that it could not open it because the package was corrupt or broken. So, I checked the checksums, and they were off, so I redownloaded it. Now, the Software Center says this:

Code: Breaks existing package 'virtualbox-4.1' that conflict: 'virtualbox'.

I'm using ubuntu 9.04. From last few days I'm trying to install a virtualbox,but i can't. I went to this link for virtualbox. https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds_3_0 Found the virtualbox for my version. After downloading it in xp i restarted my pc and opened ubuntu. While installing by package installer there is a problem.
