I have installed F12 from the DVD onto my laptop.
The kernel is vmlinuz-2.6.31.5-127.fc12.i686.PAE
When I boot the machine it starts in what looks like 80x25 mode, and then changes to 160x50.
Please see F12-PAE-boot.jpg for the default boot mode.
:( I cannot see anything hardly, as the text is so small. :(

uname -a
Linux foo.bar.blah 2.6.18-308.8.2.el5 #1 SMP Tue Jun 12 09:58:12 EDT 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
use "free -m" to display memory usage, almost no memory left.
I count the slab memory, using
"cat /proc/slabinfo |awk '{sum = sum + $3 * $4} END { print sum/1024/1024/1024 }'", discovery it almost used 22G.

When I create a virtual machine in Hyper-V and set it up to use dynamic memory, the virtual machine will always use the maximum memory within the virtualized OS. Hyper-V will show the assigned memory at 514mb, but when I log into the server and pull up task manager, it will show 90% memory used.
