I have a few local accounts on a Windows XP machine.
The local account is called localUser1 ... localUser16
I need to lock the accounts down so the ONLY application that is allowed to run is Notepad.exe
All domain accounts, local Admin accounts should be unaffected.
Is this possible? If so then how to execute it?
Imagine a Windows workgroup network where two computers each have a local account with the same username/password combination.
By default SQL Server Uses a virtual account for the sql server service: NT SERVICE \ MSSQLSERVER which is a Virtual Account.
I know you can give this account nework access in a domain by adding security to MyDomain\MyComputerName$. Can the same thing be done in a workgroup? I tried to added security to MyWorkGroupName\MyComputerName$ but it won't let me.
Hi,
I am going to deploy ubuntu 12.04 in a secondary school. Students have a shared account depending on their grade (4) which is managed via Windows/AD.
The requirement is to allow authentication via four AD accounts and two local accounts.
I'm on a semi-managed server with 2 accounts, and both are mine. I had 40 domains parked on top of one of the accounts, and I recently changed them to point to the other account by editing /usr/local/apache/httpd.conf.
Everything is working fine, but for one very minor detail: in cPanel, the old account still shows 40 domains parked, and the new account doesn't show any.
The Environment:
One AD domain that is not managed by local admins (can’t edit, can’t add GPO, etc.) Users have accounts here. Call this AD alpha
This AD Alpha has a trust to a local AD domain (Call this one Zeta) that local admins administer. Contains computer accounts.
There are two unix accounts A and B. I want to configure password less ssh between these two accounts. This can be done without much pain but my problem is that there are mutiple accounts like A and B where I have to the same thing.I also have one admin account C (not root).
Hi,
Ive currently got a reseller account with Host Gator with 26 accounts and 38 websites on those accounts and Ive just got a new account with another hosting company, (with WHM & cPanel).
I am currently using two computers, both running Fedora 17.
For evolution I have two accounts listed in the left hand window: On this Computer and My Server Account.
On my main machine, the Server Account comes first, and on my back up computer the On this Computer Account comes first.
I thought there was some way to change the order in which the accounts were listed, and I think I did it befo
