http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hello, Has anyone attempted to install fedora (or any linux for that matter) on the viliv x70? http://www.myviliv.com/ces/main_x70atom.html Here's the hardware: Atom 1.33GHz (Z520) 1GB RAM 128GB SSD (expensive option) 7" (1024x600) WSVGA touch-panel WiMax & HSPDA 802.11b/g bluetooth 2.0 SiRF Star III (GPS) 1 USB, 1 audio, 1 USB (link?), 1Multi I/O, 1 SD/SDHC Slot 1.3MP camera 7.4V 4100mAh lithium polymer battery It is available with Windows 7/XP/Vista but no linux. Viliv's web site has no mention of linux support. However, pre-release PR said that linux would be an option. I worry especially about drivers for the touch-panel and the multi I/O jack... It seems like a really nice little package, but Windows-only cuts its usefulness in half for me, so if anyone has any experience with installing (or trying to install) linux on the x70 please post a reply... thanks, Darrell (HowTos)
