So my brand new sound card, Xonar DX, is picking up microphone buzz when I'm playing a game. So I had this idea for a solution. The card is set as far away from the video card as possible, but it's still picking up interference from the video card. Is there a way to shield the sound card from the video card?
I'm working on building a custom PC, and I've run into a problem. I have an ASRock B75 Pro 3 motherboard and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 video card.
After I installed everything (correctly, as far as I know, but I could be wrong, since this is my first build), including the video card. When I powered it on, with an HDMI cable from the monitor to the video card I didn't get any display.
I'm building my first computer. I installed a EVGA GTX 980 video card properly but decided to pull it out quickly so I can install an additional fan on my Noctua NH-D15 cooler. Initially, I opted for a single fan because I thought the second fan wouldn't fit because of the height of my RAM memory modules. However, this isn't going to be a problem.
I am trying to learn about Solaris and Sun systems so I purchased a SunFire 280r running Solaris 9 with a disk array from eBay. The system had no video card so I purchased a PGX32 card for the PCI slot and installed it.
The problem is I have no video what so ever. I am familiar to the x86 world where I would expect at least a POST from a new video card.
Hi everyone. I just put together a new build and I'm having an issue. When I power on, all the fans start spinning including on the video card. After about 20 seconds though it appears the system shuts down and then starts up again. After another 20 seconds it happens again and it is a continual process.
I want to install a video card into a server. When it is inserted, server does not boot up and there is no video signal coming from video card. 4 LEDs at the back of the motherboard show pattern G-R-R-A which means "Disabling the console controller" (see Appendix C in manual). There was another (older) video card in that PCI slot and it worked fine.
