I've tried to figure it out for several months, with no success. I have a Windows 2008R2 domain, and one Linux server (first it was Fedora 15, then 16, and now it's Centos 6.2). I am trying to make it member of the domain to the extent possible. Ideally, I would like to login and get authenticated against domain (say, login 'DOMAIN+john').
We have multiple servers scattered over different hosting providers. For learning, experimenting and, ultimately, production purposes, I set one of them as a Domain Controller.
Environment:
Windows 2000 sp4 EDIT: Domain Controller with no trust setup with the Win2008 Server
Windows XP machines
Windows 2008 Server
Netapp NAS
Problem:
We have a shared folder that resides on a NAS using a Windows 2008 AD for the authentication with the proper permissions setup.

I have a development server with an SQL 2008 EXPRESS instance running on it.
My work proxy server requires authentication with the Microsoft AD domain user credentials.
I'm managing about 20 computer for a small business, and set up their network yesterday. We have a server that fills multiple roles, including DHCP, Domain Admin, and file sharing/storage.
Today all of the computers have access to the internet and the server files with the exception of one.
I've ran into a strange issue. Our domain admin accounts, for some odd reason, aren't seeing certain files. It was mainly on three workstations that were off the network for a while for hardware repairs and were rejoined.
The three workstations are running 7 SP1. The respective Domain controllers that were used as logon servers are running 2008r2 x2, a 2008sp1, and 2003sp2.
I have 3 boxes.
DC = Domain Controller running Win2008R2
Client = Server running Win2008R2 joined to the domain
Server = Server running Ubuntu 12.04
Kerberos is setup on "Server" to authenticate against Active Directory on "DC". kinit and klist work as expected.
