The DROID RAZR HD will cost $199 and the DROID RAZR HD MAXX will run you $299. The main difference between the two phones is the DROID RAZR MAXX HD sports the same 3300mAh battery that was in the DROID RAZR MAXX. It also makes it a little thicker; 9.3mm vs 8.4mm. We already did an initial hands on of the DROID RAZR HD and now it’s time for the bigger brother, the DROID RAZR MAXX HD. I say bigger brother, but I have to be honest, you can barely tell the difference between the two devices.

  Motorola has formally announced the three newest additions to the DROID RAZR family: the DROID RAZR M, DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD smartphones. Each smartphone has unique characteristics and features that aims to set it apart from the rest of the competition.

I have a dilemma, I am up for an upgrade and I have decide if the Droid Razr Maxx or the Droid Razr HD Maxx is worth the wait & extra money. I currently have a Droid Bionic so either will be a step up, but I am wondering if anyone has any ideas about this. The only real difference I can find is the pixel number, which is quite significant, but had anyone else heard anything?

Two days ago we reported that Verizon was sending out texts to the DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX owners that an update to Ice Cream Sandwich was looming and just around the corner. And today, an ICS build running on the RAZR has leaked with the build number of 6.16.211.

My friend is about to get a cell phone but isn't sure what to get. She is looking at the $200 range with a contract and she for sure wants the RAZR line. The question is simple though; which one?

I have the Droid RAZR Maxx HD and absolutely love it. The battery is great and even better than my RAZR Maxx I had before hand. However, this is $100 out of her range.

If you remember our previous story, Best Buy had leaked that an update to Ice Cream Sandwich might be available on April 4th for the DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX.
