Brutal! Guess what guys? Verizon just pushed back the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S III! Really, no joke. The original estimated ship date was July 9th and now it’s the… 10th. OK, not to bad, eh? I know, I just wanted to build up the suspense a little before I broke the news. Anyway, for whatever reason they decided to push the ship date back and aren’t telling us why.

If you are one of the many people waiting to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S III through Verizon, brace yourself for a delay. According to Verizon’s web site, the availability date is now July 12th, two days later than the previously announced July 10th date. The change appears to only apply to new purchases.

We previously mentioned that you should expect the official launch of Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S III to be on July 10th. Verizon has now made that official with their press release. Pricing is at $199.99 for the 16GB version, and $249.99 for the 32GB model.

As some Sprint customers begin to receive their pre-ordered Galaxy Nexus phones, we have learned that the device is running Android 4.0.4, which is a more updated version than Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus, which is still only on 4.0.2.

If you’re a Verizon customer and you want to make sure you get your Samsung Galaxy S 4 on release day, you might want to head over to Best Buy because they are now taking pre-orders.

After a long period of pre-orders, Verizon has finally revealed November 29th as their official launch date of their Samsung Galaxy Note 2. With the ugly Verizon branding on the home button and all, the Note 2 packs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with a quad-core Exynos processor amd 2 GB’s of RAM.

Toshiba has announced that its 10.1-inch, Tegra 2-based Thrive tablet will ship with Android 3.1 on July 10, starting at $429. Meanwhile, Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 will ship on Verizon and T-Mobile with Android 3.1 on June 8, according to reports -- although another rumor claims the Samsung launch will be delayed due to bugs....

  The second I saw this story on the XDA thread, I envisioned many Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III users giving Verizon the proverbial middle finger. This locked bootloader issue with Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S III has certainly made a full circle.

We just reported yesterday that Verizon had pushed back their GSIII launch to July 12 and now the pre-orders are getting hit with delays as well. The latest update from Big Red states that pre-orders will begin shipping out July 19. I’m sure this is a tad frustrating for many customers have been already patiently waiting for their dream phone to arrive.
