http://www.talkandroid.com – Samsung and Verizon announced today the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available for $499 through Verizon, fully equipped with LTE. The specs are similar to the WiFi version we’ve already reviewed, but it does come with a little less memory and is likely to be slightly heavier to account for the cellular radios. It packs a dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, and a 7000 mAh battery under the 10.1 inch HD screen. The $499 is the retail price, as Verizon no longer offers tablet subsidies. Not a bad tablet to add to your Verizon plan, but it’s not going to blow you (IT news)
