Hi, I'm looking to get a Galaxy Tab 7.7 and it seems the cheapest used one on ebay is the SCH-i815. I assume the difference in model number has to do with the ability to use 4G LTE on Verizon, which I'm not concerned with really, except that this version seems to be selling for cheaper. My concern is when I root this tablet can I use the any of the ROMs listed under the development section?
Hello everybody, this is my first post although ive been here for some time.great forum. I am sorry if this is in the wrong section but i have looked every where and cant find anything to what im going thru? I recently traded my galaxy s3 for a note 2 on verizon that was flashed to tmobile and then reflashed to verizon.
Hi,
I'm new, but I'm in the process of deciding on a smartphone or 4G tablet and wanted to ask some questions.
I need a device that uses Verizon's data network because I work in Yellowstone during the summers and that's the only network that works out there.
I'm headed to Australia in October and want to use my device with a local SIM card.
Questions:
--Are the Verizon Samsung devices
Samsung and Verizon announced today the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available for $499 through Verizon, fully equipped with LTE. The specs are similar to the WiFi version we’ve already reviewed, but it does come with a little less memory and is likely to be slightly heavier to account for the cellular radios.
It’s no secret that Verizon has major intentions to bring its FIOS service to Android devices. We first had a glimpse of this notion when Verizon announced its FIOS app for smartphones and tablets. Then we saw the always Verizon-friendly brand Motorola try to sneak out an Android TV tablet for TV rooms.
I had briefly used a Galaxy S3, and one of the really annoying thing that Verizon seems to have done is to remove the wifi toggle in the notification area.
I finally saw the Verizon Note2 in the store, and guess what, there's no Wifi toggle in the notification area, just like the S3. Everything else is there, mobile data, gps, bluetooth, etc.
Today’s a joyous day for owners of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 operating on Verizon’s blazing 4G LTE network— Verizon has officially announced the Ice Cream Sandwich update is ready to roll out to the masses.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 has recently passed through the FCC sporting radios capable of utilizing Verizon’s LTE network. Nothing really new to be gained from this filing and you can expect the device to be similar to the one we recently reviewed. Except of course for the addition of LTE radios.
I currently have a Galaxy Nexus on Verizon with Unlimited data. My question is in regards to the WiFi tethering with the Nexus 4. On my GN I currently use Fattin WiFi Toggle to get around the Verizon Tethering Fee. I use between 10-50 GB a month in tethering. This is primarily for iPad tethering for wathcing Netflix and iPod tehering for music.
