is there anyway to use S voice to make a call without unlocking the lock screen? Or a way to set the screen to only lock when I manually lock it? I have Screen Off and Lock downloaded which lets me manually lock it from the pull down menu but it still automatically locks after 10 minutes after no use.
I got my unlock code from ATT but I can not seem to find a way to unlock it, either with the ATT sim in or a TMobile one. Previously using methods here on XDA I was able to unlock the SIM lock; the Subset lock; the SP lock and the Corporate lock. Going into Diagnosis all of those locks are disabled. However, the Network lock is still enabled.
The system wont lock after 10 minutes of inactivity .
The key combo locks system properly . If its suspended on timeout it and awakened it will display a lock screen , but if I have lock set for 10 mins of inactivity it doesnt lock
or lock after screen goes to sleep , if i set locking after moinitor sleep .
Question by harryr57: best hitch lock for my cargo trailer?
I am planning to purchase a hitch lock for
my cargo trailer so that no one can hitch up
to my cargo trailer and steal it.
I had a previous lock which used a tubular
(like locks on the front of vending machines),
but the moisture caused me problems
If I log into a Gnome session as root (please don't bombard me with why I shouldn't do this, I've heard it all before and don't agree with you) I can log out by clicking on 'root' in the menu bar top-right and selecting 'Log Out' which is just above 'Lock'.
However, if I'm logged in as a non-root user then clicking on the name shown in the menu bar I am only offered 'Lock' and not 'Log Ou
I have a multi-threaded process where a file is shared (read and written) by multiple threads. Is there any way a thread can lock one file segment so that other threads cannot access it?
I have tried fcntl(fd, F_SETLKW, &flock), but this lock only works for processes, not threads (a lock is shared between all threads in an process).
