I wrote something similar in the One threads a while ago and wanted to share here as well. These 2 apps will help you get excellent battery life.
WAKELOCK DETECTOR

**ROOT NOT REQUIRED**
Wakelock detector allows you identify processes that prevent your device from going into deepsleep when the screen is off.
Hi,
i recently changed my battery to the one x+ one and hoped that I got a better battery life with this.
It is better indeed but never the less the battery doesn't last a whole day.
Anybody think the "OPEN" & "UNINSTALL" buttons in the new Google Play Store are way too small/close?
They used to be on the left and right... now they are stacked on top of each other... What was Google
engineers smoking when they came up with this new design?
On the Note 2, I can barely avoid hitting the wrong one....
Hi xda member, i need the help of 1-2 people, good with photoshop and images, i will create a New Team, for develop ROM on Android-Based.. This isn't my app, but I wanted to give fellow T989 users a heads-up on it:

Apparently, our phones don't get along well with certain 3rd party chargers, and if you use one, it'll wakelock your phone until you reboot.
Hi,
I was trying to search but did find a conclusive answer.
Which option is better in terms of battery consumption, especially during the night:
1. Turn off wifi and use cellular data.
2. wifi + Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep set to "Never".
3. wifi + Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep set to "Only when connected".
4.
Does anyone know what causes msm_hsic_host wake lock?
I've left my phone idle overnight and it has had a lot of this wakelock showing in better battery stats
WiFi was left on if that is relevant
Can't really find any references to this wakelock via our friend Google
Thanks
Last week Google announced they were re-introducing their Google Chromebook laptop. Today the device appeared in the Google Play Store with a price of $249. Interested buyers can sign up to be notified when it is ready for purchase, which is expected to be in only a few days.
The Chromebook is powered by a dual-core Exynos processor, 2GB of RAM, a 16GB SSD, and sports an 11.6-inch HD display.
My personal review:
I found this app few days back in xda (Google Floating Video Player) and installed on my S3. Looks amazing. Its smooth and now I feel like enjoying all videos on my device. I can zoom in and out my videos and also can float the videos on my home screen.
