I setup dwm-transparency.diff with xcompmgr no problem in dwm6.1; then this happens on nxagent[ackt1c@yrch ~]$ xcompmgr

I was seeing an odd thing where thunderbird or firefox would fail to startup. Nothing would happen.. the terminal would just there until I canceled out.. I later discovered the apps would start if I did 'su - <myaccount>' and logged in as myself again.. This pointed to some kind of env issue causing the problem..
I am running Linux Mint, but i think this issue will be mutual with Ubuntu. My webcam in Skype is upside down (in Cheese it's ok). There are a lot of topics dealing with this coming up with fix like this:
Running Mac OS 10.7.2 and trying to run libfaketime and nothing happen. I installed and ran exactly as directed only the time and date stay exactly as are set in the system? Is anyone else able to successfully run this on OSX?
